Zhang Yongjiang

Zhang Yongjiang, male and born in February 1963
Education Background:
2003-2001, Special Foreign Researcher of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)
2001-1999, post-doctoral research at the Department of History of Beijing Normal University
1999-1996, studied at the Institute of Qing History of Renmin University of China, majoring in the history of nationalities in border area in Qing Dynasty and graduated with PhD degree in history
1984-1987, studied at the Institute of Mongolia History of Inner Mongolia University, majoring in the history of northern nationalities and Mongolia, graduated with an MA degree in history
1980-1984, studied at the Department of History in Inner Mongolia University, graduated with a BA degree
Knowledge Structure:
Having received systematic education in history, being familiar with various Chinese and foreign theories and methodologies in history as well as relevant theories of nationality studies and anthropology; with studying experience abroad and proficiency in Japanese; having necessary language competency in the research of Chinese nationalities in border area
